Turning Struggles Into Strength
Defying Limits is more than a nonprofit—it's a movement. I started it because I know what it's like to feel unseen in the classroom. After being diagnosed with impaired working memory, I had to figure out how to succeed in a system that didn’t seem built for students like me. Over time, I realized my story could help others feel less alone.
Through Defying Limits, I:
Provide scholarships to students with hidden disabilities
Guide families through the IEP and accommodations process
Visit schools to share my book and advocate for inclusion
Partner with educators and communities to create supportive environments
We believe every student deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated—not in spite of their differences, but because of them.
